The First Amendment was written on September 25th, 1789, as a part of the Bill of Rights and was officially ratified on December 15th, 1791. It was written to protect an individual and their liberties and to limit federal power, to ensure the government is fair to its citizens. 

    I liked this video because I feel it expresses 1st amendment while letting kids know that they have freedom but with limits on knowing your wrongs and I feel it is a valuable lesson.  

I chose this video because I feel the guy who is speaking is around the viewers age and could explain good to middle schoolers and up. He gives good examples on the first amendment on what each word means and explains it well.
